Paws 4 Fun was founded in 2002 with the ordinary pet dog in mind. The club’s aim is to promote motivational and reward based training/handling techniques and to demonstrate how training can be fun for pets and owners.

We aim to run a professional service and are a Kennel Club listed training club with full public liability insurance. Three of our main trainers are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).

Our links with the APDT give a guarantee of quality. Our trainers and assistants adhere to a strict code of practice and the club does not condone the use of any harsh training methods including, but not limited to, check/choke chains or shock devices.

‘Paws 4 Fun’ is non-profit making; the trainers make no charge for their time. Upon the start of your first class/course, a small annual membership fee is payable plus the class/course fee. The fees charged go towards the cost of insurance, hire of facilities etc. Occasionally, we hold special fundraising events in aid of recognised dog charities.

Read on for full details of the courses/classes we offer and the trainer to contact for information on course start dates. Any of the trainers will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you and your dog soon!

Need help training your dog? Does your dog pull on the lead? Just got yourself a puppy?

If the answer is ‘YES’ to any of the above, then Paws 4 Fun dog training classes may be just what you have been looking for.
