All
of our trainers adhere to the Code of Conduct, laid down by the Association
of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), which involves training methods
which are kind, fair and effective, therefore we DO
NOT USE choke/check chains or
electric collars. Training dogs has changed a great deal in
the last few years. It is no longer considered necessary, or
acceptable, to use harsh methods in training, and the use of
gentle, motivational methods are as successful as they are
enjoyable to use.
This class runs on a Monday evening between
9:30pm and 10:30pm at Tregony Village Hall. It is open to
all Paws4Fun members.
At £3/week you can use this class
to get individual help on something specific or just as a filler
to keep your "paw" in whilst waiting for another course to begin.
If
it's specific individual help you want then please let Melissa
know in advance by telephoning 01726 815743 so that she can
come prepared but if it's just for your own practice, just turn
up.
